Gmail display images now!

Most of us would have wondered as why it’s needed to click “display images below” to see the images in the Gmail?  It’s to protect the users from any harm through the images in the emails, as images were stored in the external host servers.

But the recent update in the Gmail, lets its users to view the image without the need of confirming the display of the image. Gmail will serve the images through Google’s own secure proxy servers.

Because of which, the email users are more secure and bit relaxed on seeing the images in their email, also can enjoy the pictures than the blunt texts in their mails.

Anyhow, the user can choose to have a tab on the images getting displayed on, as an option “Ask before displaying external images” under “General” tab in settings.
